WE ARE 1976 does not share customer information with third parties. Customer information is solely used to place and process orders. Any personal information submitted to WE ARE 1976 is not sold, shared or transmitted for any other purposes. Customers are added to our mailing list only if they choose to sign up.

WE ARE 1976 uses industry-standard pro SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption when transferring and receiving customer information on our site server. All personal information including credit card numbers, names and addresses are encrypted, temporarily stored to review order and deleted once the order is authorized.

Ordering & Payment:
WE ARE 1976 accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Payment is processed at time of purchase and an e-mail confirmation will be sent. All advertised sales prices are automatically calculated at checkout.

Orders are shipped within the United States via UPS and processed within one to three business days from the date of purchase. Customers have the option to ship UPS Ground, UPS Next Day Air Saver, UPS Next Day Air or UPS Next Day Air Early. Orders shipped internationally are shipped via UPS. Real-time shipping costs are automatically calculated and determined by destination prior to checking out. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE UNABLE TO DELIVER TO P.O. BOXES. With international orders, the responsibility of all customs, duties, and tariffs is the customer's repsonsibility.

Return Policy:
You may return non-sale merchandise for exchange or store credit only with original receipt up to 30 days from purchase date. Shipping and gift wrapping charges are non-refundable. All returns must be in original condition -- unused, unwashed and undamaged with original tags and packaging. Returned items that do not meet these qualifications will not be accepted. A store credit authorization number will be e-mailed to the address provided in order to make future purchases. To make a return or exchange, please complete the return form and send regular mail (USPS) with merchandise and receipt in original packaging. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE 1976 DOES NOT ASSUME RETURN SHIPPING COSTS.

Lost or Damaged Shipping:
Lost or damaged merchandise will be refunded including shipping charge if the product is defective, damaged or the wrong product was shipped. Please contact us immediately if you believe your package has been lost. Lost shipment is subject to verification. If your package appears to have sustained damage, please note when signing for the shipment and contact us immediately. Keep all shipping materials including box and all contents. Refunds will be processed in the original form of payment within five business days from the date the package is received. An e-mail notification will be sent to the address listed on you account once the transaction has been processed. Please note, your banking institution may require additional days to process and post the transaction to your bank account.
